How
much room do I need to have?
A.
With
our medium size castles you will need to have an even flat area
of 4.5m x 4.5m sq
Height
needs to have a clearance of at least 4.0m
With the
large combo’s you will need to have an even flat area of 6m x 6m
sq
Height
needs to have a clearance of 5.0m
Question 2
What
access is required?
A.
You
will need approximately a 1 metre wide pathway to get to set up
point for the medium Castle & approximately 1.5 metre wide
pathway to set up point for the larger combo castles.
Please
advise on booking if there are any steps on access path as
castles are between 90-180kg and hard to move up steps. If there
are steps operator may need to have assistance getting to set up
point.

How long does it take to set up castle &
when does hire commence?
A.
Set up time usually takes around 15mins as
long as access is clear. Your hire starts from the time that the
castle is inflated checked and ready to use. The set up is done
prior to your booked time and the dismantling is done after
booking period has finished, so you don’t loose any hire time.

How long does it take to take down castle?
A.
The taking down of castles usually takes
around 15mins for the medium size castle & 20-25mins for the
larger combo castles.

Do we have to put up castle?
A.
No. We have fully trained staff who will
delivery & install your castle where required & Give you all
relevant operating & safety instructions needed to supervise &
make sure your party goes ahead without any problems.
Question 6
Can you set up the castle on pavers?
A.
Yes. As long as
surface is a flat level surface we can set up on grass, pavers,
concrete any where. Ground must also be free from any rocks or
other sharp obstacles that may cause damage to the castle.
Please let us know at time of booking in castle will be going on
surface other than grass or dirt. (Eg: asphalt, concrete, pavers
etc)
Question 7
Can we move the castle during our hire
period if we need to?
A.
NO. Once operator has set up castle in the
designated position it must not be move under any circumstance.
If the castle does move at all, please hold by corner & adjust
back original set up position & check ties & straps.
Question 8
Do we have to have someone supervising
whilst castle is operating?
A. YES.
Castle must have the nominated person (adult over 18 years of
age) who had instructions explained to them at set up
supervising children at all times. The children’s safety on this
product is reliant on the supervising adult.
Question9
What is the latest I can book a castle for?
A.
Due
to overall safety requirements the jumping castles can only be
used for up to 1 hour after dusk. This means that as a guide &
allowing time for dismantling, the times are as follows:

From the end of October to
end of March the latest castles are available for is till
7.30pm
-
And from the start of
April to the end of May till 6.30pm
-
From the start of June to
the end of August till 5.30pm
-
From the start of
September to end of October till 6.30pm
If
extended hours are required past these times there must be
adequate lighting provided and Castles must be must be
supervised by a staff member of Jumpin’ Beenz Amusements &
Party Hire. Rates can be arranged opon booking.
Question 10
Is there an age limit for the jumping castles? And how many
can go on at the one time?
A. Yes.
On the medium castles we recommend a maximum of 8-10 children at
the one time and an age limit of up to 13 years of age. On the
larger combo castles we recommend a maximum of 10-12 children at
the one time. We also recommend that the children are
grouped in age groups as to avoid any accidents with older
children.
Question 11
How long does the jumping castle stay up for?
A.
The
castles will stay up as long as the blower stays connected. The
blower must always stay plugged into a main electrical
socket at all times. DO NOT plug extension lead into a double
Adaptor or power board, this may cause deflation of castle.
Castle may not be more than 20 metres from a power source. If
so a petrol generator can be supplied at an extra cost.
Please advise on booking if this is the case.
Question 12
Can I have castle set up in a park?
A.
Yes.
If you require us to set up in a public reserve or park you must
have permission from the council & check if there are any
requirements or fees. Ground must also be clear of any
sharp objects or obstructions prior to castle arrival & set up.
Petrol Generator will be supplied at an additional cost.
Question 13
Do you have insurance?
A.
Yes. Jumpin’ Beenz has carries a $10,000,000 public liability
insurance. So we are covered for your backyard party or full
corporate event day. Please feel free to ask for a copy of our
certificate of currency.
Question 14
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A. Yes.
There is a $50 deposit required within 7 days of booking, this
will hold castle for your date required. Deposits can be made
by direct deposit or posted cheque or money order.
Balance
must be paid cash on the day of hire.
Question 15
What happens if I cancel my
booking?
A.
If you cancel your booking within 7 days
of your hire you will unfortunately forfeit your deposit.
Question 16
What happens if it rains?
A.
Most
castles come with rain & sun cover to provide protection. If
there is strong winds or severe weather conditions
forecast for the day of hire Jumpin’ Beenz reserves the right
tocancel a booking if safety of persons deemed would be at risk.
Jumpin’ Beenz would be happy to reschedule or refund
deposit if such an event does occur.
Question 17
Can kids drink in castle?
A.
NO. Under no circumstances are any persons to take any beverage,
food or foreign objects inside or onto castles. If there
is any spillages or damages caused by face paint silly stringsharp objects etc lessee will be liable for the full cost
of any such repairs required.
Question 18
Are the castles clean before
arrival?
A. Yes.
Castle are cleaned and disinfected after ever hire. So it would
be much appreciated ifcastles are left as close as possible to
how they arrived.

Do you have a loyalty program?
A.
YES.
We have a great customer loyalty & referral program. Ask our
friendly staff for details when making booking. You can

Is there anything else I need to
know?
A.
Only
what day & castle you want to choose, once you’ve worked that
out it time for the fun to start! If you do think of anything
